Draft. This is a plain-language draft and hasn’t had legal review yet. It describes how Ferry works today, and it will change before launch.

Who we are

Ferry is a service from Snapwre. In these terms, “we” means Snapwre and “you” means the person or company using Ferry.

Ferry is still being built

Ferry is an early service. Features can change or stop, and some things described on this site aren’t available yet.

  • We don’t offer an uptime guarantee or service level agreement.
  • Automatic backups aren’t in place yet, so don’t keep the only copy of important mail in Ferry.
  • Payments aren’t live. Checkout is a test that moves no money and collects no payment details.

Accounts and workspaces

You need to give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account. Workspace owners and admins control their workspace, including its users, mailboxes and domains. You must have the right to use any domain you add.

Plans and payment

Plans and prices are on the Pricing page, in Ethiopian birr. Once payments are live, paid plans renew until you cancel, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. We’ll give notice before changing the price of a plan you’re on.

A paid plan can start as a 14-day free trial, once per workspace and per owner, without payment details. If it isn’t paid for by the end of the trial, the workspace moves to the free plan. No mail is deleted.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Ferry to:

  • Send spam, or mail to purchased or scraped lists
  • Send phishing, malware or anything that impersonates someone else
  • Break the law or harm or harass people
  • Attack or overload Ferry, or get around its limits

Sending limits

To protect every customer’s mail, we may pause sending for a workspace whose bounce or complaint rate is too high. We aim to pause above a 4% bounce rate or a 0.08% complaint rate. We’ll tell you why and how to ask for a review.

Your content

You own your mail and data. You let us store, process and transmit it only as needed to run Ferry for you. You’re responsible for having the right to send what you send.

Suspension and closing an account

You can stop using Ferry at any time. We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk, and we’ll tell you unless the law or an urgent risk stops us. Ask us to export your data before you leave.

Liability

Ferry is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses or lost mail, data or profits. The final limit on our liability will be set after legal review.

Changes and governing law

We’ll update the date at the top when these terms change, and tell workspace owners by email about changes that matter. The governing law will be stated here after legal review.
